Created a web-based platform to aid in an NIH grant research project (project number 1DP2EB035858-01, $1.3m): using crowd-powered machine learning to diagnose developmental delays in adolescents from digital social interactions.

  • Used the Meteor.js framework to create a responsive website that hosts multiplayer games that users can interact with through the webcam.
  • Created multiplayer real-time video games using the HTML5 canvas.
  • Created social features on the website, such as a friending system.

Assisted the NREM office with various departmental tasks.

  • Processed and sorted graduate school applications, ran errands, answered phones, and replyed to and forwarded emails.
  • Assisted the head of the NREM department (Dr. Tomoaki Miura) with the programming aspects of his research projects. Primarily wrote shell scripts in Bash to sort massive amounts of files that will be used for the research projects.
